A red headed woman walks into the Corps de Grace headquarters. She says that two suspicious woman were seen on the dock, acting strangely, and when questioned, inadvertently said something about Eldritch horrors from the deep, even though they probably shouldn't have even known what such things were, let alone what they more scientific name of them would be. After a short distraction, they dove into the water, and were not seen again.

The lady, if asked why she was there, she says she was following clues about a man that was panicked about a creature from the deep coming out of the water. The man died in his delusions by running into a tree.

The militiaman behind the desk listens with an incredulous expression on his face. Despite his expression however, militia patrols are seen to step up their routes around the dockside.

A short while after the report the body of a farmer is brought in from the Second Wind Inn, stories suggest he committed suicide by sprinting head-first into a tree.
