Rumors run rampant among the common folks of Sundren, especially those who live in or frequent the miltary ward.
Orcs, or possibly half orcs depending upon whom you talk to, we're walking, sometimes escorted, other times not.
Said orcs we're supposedly armed and possibly even brandishing said weapons, as well as other generally unacceptable behaviours, including but not limited to;
- wearing full face covering
- carrying body parts
- littering said body parts partially eaten on the street
- public displays of ludeness whilst attempting to deal with persistant itches
- proclamations that Gruumsh One-Eye is "da best", "da strongest" and so on
- general unruliness
While some maintain that the city guards had things well in hand, others suggest they "did nothing" or "let it happen". This might lead to any number of other slanderous remarks regarding the Legion.
Another related rumor suggests that a certian mercenary in the employ of Exigo company was escorting said orcs. Naturally, all number of baseless rumors now circulate regarding Exigo and it's collaboration with orcs of Mossdale, Viridale or any other known orc tribes within the region. It is clear to most you ask that they are somehow involved and are atleast partly responsible for half orcs (or full blood orcs according to some) walking around Sundren as they please.
Such dangerous rumors circulating in local dives, brothels and other locals of disrepute might lead to forms of civil disobidence or unrest. Who can say?
