  • Our Today - Your Tomorrow

Mass printed letters are handed out to people in and around the townships and city quarters, Exigo, it seems, are out to win hearts and minds.

    Who is Adrian Readan?

It’s a question I’ve heard time and time again, on the streets, in the alleyways, in the bathhouses and in the barracks.

People want to know; Who is this dashing and enigmatic man? What does he want? Who is his tailor?

Well gentle reader, worry no longer. I am Adrian Readan, and I am happy to answer your questions.

This dashing and enigmatic man is here to be what you need. Be it friend, confidant or colleague. I am here to support you, and provide you with those things you need to bring out your inner you-ness.

What do I want? I want a better future, for all of us.
There are many people in this world who will look around them and see only what they want, they look at what they have now, and fear that progress may take that away. People such as this come to me quite frequently and say “Hey! Adrian. I’m content with what I’ve got. I’m content with the way I live. I don’t need change, I don’t need any of your so called Progress.

But should we be happy? Should we be content? Every day I see people that suffer, people that break their bones toiling away at hard labour. I see children forced to live in boxes and play with dead rats. I see disease, famine, poor design and unreasonable ergonomics. Are these the things that people are content with? Does unhappiness and strife sit well with you?

    I thought not.

I dream of a world where affordable Exigo-quality housing is a right, not a privilege. A future where ludites who smash machinery and prevent progress have been educated into the right way of thinking. I dream of a time when the average man does not have to toil and sweat, but where Exigo Constructs can toil for him, freeing man from a life of toil and drudgery. I see spreading cities of gleaming, towering spires, where each man may look out from clean Exigo windows, or recline on comfortable Exigo seats.

So, now you know who I am, dear reader, and now I hope you can share in my dream. You too can be like me, dressed in the rich cloth of life, stitched by the seamstress of destiny.

Each Exigo product purchased helps towards this; our wonderful future. Do not be the one to hold Sundren back – Buy Exigo branded goods today.

So, from the bottom of my heart I wish you well, and hope to see you in store soon.

    Best Wishes.

    Adrian Readen.

Along one of the poorer avenues of ramshackle apartments in Sundren, a scruffy young man stumbles across one of the posters. With great effort and determination he draws his eyes across the lettering, before speaking to another man undergoing the same scrutinous effort.

"Issa real wunner, y'know,' ow fings is goin' 'ese days. Progress, an' wotnot. Stannard uv libbin'."

"I mean, when I woss' growin' up, cardboard boxes woss fer the Nobs wot 'ad money. Me an' five uvver kids 'adda all gavver up wot we could scrounge jussa' buy one dead rat we could share, an'en Fat Tom gone an' et it two days later."

Celahir walks towards, ironically, the Exigo headquarters as he is handed one of these fliers. As he reads on he shakes his head, curiously.

"It's a wonder that the humans don't already take better care of themselves. It's a part of why they are a child-like race as opposed to one that truly rules all of Faerun."

As he continues reading towards the bottom his lip curls a bit.

"I wonder if one were to call out this Exigo and have them spend money on the community, if it would work. After all, they say they want everyone to have a solid home..."

He folds up the paper and sets it as a book-mark in his book as he goes into the Exigo HQ to both inquire as to the legitimacy of this flier, and collect his reward for the goblin chief.

The Legion dwarf reads the leaflet with an uncomfortable Look on his face "Aye make my life better eh? Well yer off to a good start". He begins to tear the leaflet into neat strips as he heads to the latrine at the Legion headquarters with a wry grin.
        Choose your destiny,test your might,be a dwarf.
