Expedition to the Spine

[Peridan]

Rumours circulate that a Legionnaire elf with one eye is putting together an expedition up to the far reaches of the Spine. Supplies are gathered and warm clothing is bought up as the elf prepares to leave in the morning.



((10 a.m. tomorrow, PST if any of Peridan's allies are interested))

A few Legionaire are seen assisting Peridan, seeming to lead more credit to the rumors. Oddly though, no official order has been given to assist the officer in whatever affairs he is getting involved in.

((He's right folks. from around 10-12am PST the event shall be taking place.))

A small furry head pokes itself out of the snow followed by grumbling and a bone cracking shift into the form of the Ice Bear. Tendons grow and snap and the hoarse scream turns into a mighty roar as the beast shakes itself free and it prowls down the mountain to meet his pack mate.

The large predator seems almost playful as it casually swipes at nearby Elk Tribe members.

Clad in frostfur Alexei wanders the ascent unseen as he keeps vigilant watch over his Goddess' mountain.

Rumors circulate about the Elf among the local taverns.

"I bet he's goin' up there to see his vamp wife."

"Yeah right..."

"Seriously! He's married to a damn vampire! Heard them Kelemvor priests talkin' about it."

"Yeah, and I'm the King of Waterdeep."

"You'll see! He'll come down from those mountains with fangs! Mark my words!"

A barmaid walks up, joining in the chat.

"Anyone dealing with those left hands probably has fangs already."

The three share a good laugh.

Within the walls of the Red Knight temple at Mirakus Post, a Red Blade Defender calls for the name of one Red Blade Adept.

"Gather a couple of the initiates and go to aid the Legionnaire. I am not sure if I will be able to do it myself, yet, I want to know what is this about" (( of course, if a DM allow, because I don't think I will gonna make it in time ))
