Talk circulates of a fire that broke out at the Farmstead near the exigo grounds late at night. Much was burnt down before neighbouring farmers came to help extinguish the flames. Many animals escaped the blaze in a mad rush, trampling a couple of people long the path who were coming to help.
There were no casualties except some animals, and the farmer himself. People on the scene though noticed large clawlike tracks gouged into the sod at the scene. Some of the farmers equated it to large chicken feet and whispers of demons or devils involved soon begin to be whispered around the taverns and camps.
