  • -Notes Posted Around the Area-

A series of notes, all saying the same thing in common, has been posted up around common gathering areas for adventurers, including but not limited to the Four Lanterns Inn and the Exigo Trading Post.

    Attention to all travelers.

For reasons unknown, the druid glade of Viridale forest has been closed off to the public. Do not go there without invitation from the druids.

Cecania stumbles upon the note with a quirked brow. She would look it over, scratching her cheek in thought before departing once more. Mumbling to herself as she goes.

Sammal, on an increasingly rare journey into the lands of human shape and rational thought, spies one of the posters.

Consider yourselves fortunate that you can enter the Viridale at all, if I had my way you’d all remain trapped inside your precious city, and then we’d burn it to the ground.

For those of you who dare to tread within the grove, with or without an escort, know that it is akin to treading fresh dog-shit into someone’s house. Know that your taint in our lands will mark you for doom, and that I will take great pleasure in eating your fucking hearts.”

He cringes momentarily; the realisation that he’s monologuing at a poster fills him with shame.

After a quick look around to ensure he wasn’t observed he slips away, presumably to find some wood-cutters or miners to disembowel.
      Eira Skald - Icy bitch.
Karsten Mannerheim - Idealist and murderer.
Vincent Hopkins - Witch Hunter and man of faith.
Aedan Gilter - Dreamer of broken dreams.
Henry L. Jones - Oh god, I can see forever.

(( Please note, I recently updated the PVP rules. There was an old rule about farming that applies here. Please do not hang around areas for a long time if they are well below your difficulty, even if you have an IC reason to do so. You may do a once-through patrol, but do not linger. The basic rule is--if you don't get XP from an area, you don't belong there. We must allow others the opportunity to hunt and level.

Yes, I understand the druids have to access the grove through the fort. But please be sure if you venture further into the forest that you're mindful of how long you stay in the area, assuming you are too high level. ))

(( I have a concern: If the Glade is off-limits than the Ranger's Outpost is off-limits as well as you have to go through the Glade to get to it. That's seems a little odd to me, considering that the Ranger's Outpost seems more of an open area to me. ))

Whose graven runes in tomes of dread have taught/ What things beyond the star gulfs lurk and leer.
Dark Lord of Averoigne- whose windows stare/ On pits of dream no other gaze could bare!"

            ((It is. To rangers.

Considering the Glade is supposed to be deep in the forest and hidden, it makes sense only certain types of skilled people could reach it. Of course someone could follow them if shown the way still as well, but that will not give a map point.))
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
