The entire valley is awash with gossip as the lucky survivors of a massacre gather to exchange views on the event. Mirakus, Sestra and Aquor were attacked brutally last night by hordes of vampires who took no prisoners. Sundren city itself even suffered an attack, but there were few casualties.
Word soon gets out that the Triad saved the day, destroying the horrible magics that dotted the sky, and their faith has restored the peace of the valley, with the help of a large number of freelance mercenaries and kindly adventurers.
The aftermath of the carnage is terrible, and the atmosphere throughout the valley is a glum one as funeral pyres are erected while the bereaved bid farewell to their brutally slaughtered loved ones. The name on everyone's lips, the Dark Advent is used as a curse, as people direct their hate towards the only enemy they can muster from the situation. The civillians and peasant stock cling to the feet of the militia and anyone who walks through wearing armour, begging them to rise up against the evil that has once again, taken a firm grip on the valley.
