  • The Sestran Market.

    Calling all Merchants!

    Introducing the Sestran Market.

Are you tired of crating your wares greater distances than might be necessary? Are you a fisherman that is in need of a place to set up a small stall, close to the water, to keep your fish fresher? Bakers, Brewers, and artisans of all sorts are more than welcome. Blacksmiths, Armourers and crafters of all types are encouraged to peddle their wares.

The location is secure, hassle free, and above all, under the careful eye of the Corps de Grace of Sestra. Security, lighting, and a good atmosphere yours if you come to sell!

The townsfolk of Sestra buzz with anticipation. A few Exigo employees are seen surveying the area from a distance--likely eying the new competition.

The Thayans in the mine nearby make a request to move the market, as it is in the way of their mining convoy to Aquor. The request is denied, much to their frustration.

Other merchants make inquiries as to the cost to conduct business there.

Inquiries made at the Corsairs HQ are answered with expediency. Others looking about are asked to go there; Cybil leaves word with existing merchants (bakers, carpenters, etc) that have more fixed locations to send inquiries there. When they arrive, they are told, if the goods are required by the populace, they will be subsided a bit, but most of the costs for normal merchants will go to funding security. After a year of solid business, then minor permits may be issued, but it will be evaluated at that time for sure. Cost of permits will be in proportion to the real-esatate taken up by the merchants. Cost will likely be less that Exigo Trading Post.

Mostly they are looking for good, honest merchants; to provide goods necessary for the town and surroundings, plus any that feel that they can make a good go of their business. There is also a brief mention that the Co-Captain is looking for good business opportunities to invest in (Ciron of Westgate.) Inquires there can be directed to him.

        * makes rounds again for another bazaar posting up similar notes but with a few addendums --

Merchants providing usable goods for regular people, will not pay any fees at all, these will be covered for one year, while the merchant / craftsman sets up their shop and wares - although competition is accepted, it is strongly discouraged that more than 3 of the same merchant wares or craftsmen set up shop in such a small area, unless they can sustain themselves with fairpractices *
