A letter of report along with a wrapped parcel containing a series of document(That looks slightly smudged from the possible wet weather of Sundren) is delivered to the Watch.
To the Master Watchman:
A gnome by the name of From Rini is found to be giving out forged documents and circulation of false rumours regarding of Sundren tax procedures at the Exigo Trade Post.
He claimed that the Thayan Enclave would be given allowance to collect taxes on the citizens of Sundren sometime soon, which is backed with false documents to support his claims. The said documents are attached together to this letter when delivered to you.
Usually this matter is not taken seriously during times of stability. Unfortunately, the citizens of Sundren are going through harsh times with the recent increase of taxes and a false rumour spread by individuals like From Rini would only add the sense of frustration from the populace located far from the capital, making it difficult to verify the truth of the tax claims.
The result would be the possibility of stirring unrest in the populace, as well as unneeded political implications with the Thayan enclave if the people gulible enough to fall for the forgery may begin to blame the Thayan presence as an addition to their misery.
The intention for why the gnome did this is not known and those familiar with how the Thayans carry their documents would see through this unconvincing forgery immediately. But this may not be applied the same to the populace settling far from the capital to be properly aware due to communication faults with vast travelling distance.
The matter will be left in your judgement in how it is to be resolved. If the matter deems to present itself to be important and warrants for further inquiries, my name and place of residence will be left for further contact.
