  • A letter sent to the Temple Barracks of Helm

A well written letter is sent via courier to the Temple Barracks. Bearing an Elegant "S" seal

This letter is to announce my return to sundren. I, Rane Snyder, have returned to Sundren to continue in my service to this land and Helm. Though I am sure you are aware of the circumstances of my departure I will refresh your memory. Some time ago I recieved a very disturbing letter from my mother, whereafter my brother and myself departed. Though I left with little notice, I still upheld my promise that I would return. I promise to devote my time and full potential to the Temple should you grant me the chance to prove myself, again. I await your response, hopefull of your forgiveness, at the Exigo Trade Post.

PS: I would also like to inquire if my personal effects remain in the Barracks, as I left my blade as well as my armor behind. If they have not been forfiet I would very much appreciate their return.

    Humble Paladin of Helm,
    Rane Snyder

There is no written response to Snyder's letter, but a heavily armoured man, riding an equally heavily armoured horse who looked ready to drop from their weight any second, comes riding up to him right in the middle of the Exigo Trading post, causing several people to stare. His gaze is stern but not unkind as he looks almost like some patronisingly benevolent father down at Rane. "You will report to the temple Barracks." He states clearly. "Letters are not an appropriate way to announce the return of a long missed brother." Without another word he spurs the horse back away from the post, leaving the sentinel gaping in shock.
Lorlen Locke: "Amazing how the righteous commit acts of tyranny and terror almost as beautiful as our own under their banner of "good". We merely call a spade a spade."

"If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly."
