A note written in finely crafted elvish letters appears in secret places known only to elves.

    Cousins,
Recently rumors of elves from Evermeet have come to my attention, this along with events involving drow and other numbers of our various cousins, have lead me to belive that our long lived brethern hae need of a council or other body to oversee our intrests in Sundren. We should be careful not to alarm the human government, we would not subvert their laws, we would indeed work outside them, but only for the greater good.

A reply is finely written in espruar on a billboard arranged to such an effect as elven correspondance in Elren's Damasi's shop in Aquor.

I concur. There are wild, unoccupied areas in the Viridale Forest and the Sharahan Hills which could be suitable for initial meetings until such an enclave could be established. The People could do well to be more organised in the North.

    Signed,

Another note was left in the board some time later.

My kin, we cannot afford to simply sit on our hands and just on the assumption that Sundren will be the more accommodating for the People.

Solonor teaches elves to fend for their own needs in the wilds, but also to associate between civilization and nature. Between barbarism and harmony. A breach was made recently, in which even the best that mankind could offer made it known plainly that good for all did not necessarily mean the good of the elves. As his priestess, I will step forward and make a stand.

Humans being self-centered as to their own sense of righteousness would be something I would advocate to be tolerated. However, I will not stand to see the lives of drow marauders being held in higher esteem than an elf's, be that of Sun, Moon, Wild or Wood heritage.

I stand as representative of the Seldarine and declare that the People can no longer depend on the good will of the folk of Sundren and expect them to give us a place here. If the humans cannot stand for the good of the People, than we must stand for ourselves and work to secure a better future for us to live in.

I urge caution when faced with signs of dark elves - few have proven worthy of regard and I caution you against their silken tongue... and more importantly, the blades and treachery they could wield in your back. Unless followers of Eilistraee make themselves known in a manner and with actions benefiting their deity, I recommend that you ready yourself for battle.

I also encourage you to convene more around the Viridale woods and help make it a better place for elves to fall back to if the Sundrites do not have a place befitting us. The canopy of the trees can serve for our home as it has ever been for our kind. The town of Aquor can stand as our approach to the nation of Sundren for our more materialistic needs.

Bear in mind that this is not a call to arms against humans - we need all the friends we can get, after all. However, we can no longer rest our hopes in them to defend prime interests of the elves, therefore, we need to be vigilant and stand for our own selves.

May the Seldarine's blessing be upon you,

      Maia Nanethiel,
      Prietess of Solonor Thelandira

        The following letter arrives.

        Ladies and gentle-elves,
It hast come unto mine attention that there are serious matters to be discussed, and now twould be a fine time to deal with them, but twould it nay be wise to wait first upon the official word of yon emissaries from our homeland? Twould nay do to cause unrest or poor feelings amongst yon locals, even if they art merely humans.

I submit further that afore any such meeting as ye suggest might take place, tis necessary to plan out afore hand just what the issues to be discussed might be, and whom might be the presiding personages over such a meeting.

Whilst talk of deeds is a fine thing, let us all remember that we art visitors here, guests wholy dependant upon the good will of yon Sundarin people and the representation of our good queen and her emissaries. I doth urge ye to act with prudence and caution.

Lady Maja, ye doth speak as though open war tis upon us, yet this tis nay so. I pray that ye shalt calm thineself and find no further cause for alarm. I art certain we art in the good and capable hands of our onw dear Evermeet, and we shalt be well taken care of. Such words of danger and war hath no place amongst the council of peace, so let them nay more enter into our discussion an ye doth please.

          To fellow elves

          This letter arrives:

          Comrades,

As always, I concur with the beautiful and wise Fadariel. If I may add further thoughts to the discussion, I have met many a Sun elf, Wood elf, etc. that were not worthy of knowing. Perhaps we should judge each person as an individual instead of categorizing an entire race. From my experiences, a worthy companion can be found in the most unexpected of indivuduals.

          Sincerely,

          Pycroft

((Pretty obviously omitting a last name))

Another note was left in the board some time later...

            Mellonamin,

I would like to assist the elven cause in these human lands. I guess a bit of knowledge and magic could help, and I can provide both. I am a wizard from Evermeet, and a follower of Corellon's cause. I may be a sun elf, but I think we should reconsider our differences for this situation, as we are all children of the Seldarine far from home. I saw dark elves walking around, and I fear it might be a threat we should look at. I already detected at least one of them as evil, and only a fool could think they are all followers of Eillistrae.

I do know some strange occurrences that happened in these regions, that I would like to share with you. If we could arrange a meeting into the outskirts of Viridale Forest, I can speak plainly about it.
