My name is Alyrian Eldeas, and I write this correspondence to you as a hopeful initiate to the acclaimed order of the Hands of Mundus. I realize that though in the past, I have perhaps not seen eye to eye with the order's actions, I have come to the realization that it is not my place to judge the Hands. Instead, I merely seek an organization capable of advancing my own magical prowess. In return, I hope to contribute to the Hands my own array of magical knowledge; though it is certainly far more limited than the mastery of the weave possessed by the Hands, it is my hope they will still find interest. There are further reasons for this application, though I would prefer not to discuss them in writing. I would be happy to elaborate, should you and the Hands accept my request.
It is my true belief that we would be of great benefit to each other. I look forward to your response.
