My name is Gromlin Onxylum, My practice is that of historian and tradesman. The reason i have contacted the good captain , and now yourself is too request diplomatic assistance in the case of what has happend in the viridale forest. As you know there is already a formed Alliance between the forts within the forest, namely mossclaw and the outposts. What you need too know is there is now another player within this game. A race of Snake like creatures, also known as Naga have taken over Mossclaw, and not by force. After speaking with the informant, they explained the naga are now paying the alliance too keep humans out of the forest.
This is quite unsettling, and on top of this i was explained the orc's murdered 6 soldier by setting them on fire. As a historian i must tell you this seems a very dangerous combination. I first hand have met with the naga, and they attacked without remorse. There are various Races of these snake like being's , the ones which we have met are the least of our worries. I am afraid there may even be spies within sundren, ones that look human in appearence with slight variations. If this is so, then we may be in more trouble then i suppose and offer.
To get too my point , i propose a trade with the mossclaw alliance. I have been told Sundren is undermanned and does not have the man power too deal with this new threat, so which i have decided too come too you with this. Offer the alliance land, give the a small section of the forest in return for there work for us. Better too have the poor working from us then stealing yes? I have spoken with the captain , and he has told me it is unlikely this letter will get through. i pray by the beard on me face it does. for i fear what will happen should this not be taken care of.
If you have questions of my person, i will gladly meet with anyone who you desire, along with Calandra Gleamblade. She was present at the time of my meeting with the informant, so she understands the situation.
