*This Package is addressed to Haravash Elle of Evermeet, Sywyn Elle's Uncle and Teacher of the Arcane Arts. The Package includes a short note and the original copy of the log book of (as a player I forget the npc's first name) "X" Maen, a known experimenter on living and undead, possible necromancer. Sywyn did he best to keep his where abouts unknown, with the exception of a return adress to a room at the Four Lantern's in, in Sundren. Sywyn made a personal copy of the log book for himself to study.*
Hey Pops! Doing well! You know the world is a great deal more interesting than the books you made me read, so, as you likely have surmised I have literally jumped ship. I stowed away on a ship in the harbor. Of course i regret nothing, but i happened upon a strange little gathering of adventurers and we are making some good in the world. I came upon this in my travels and thought that perhaps you might want a look at this. I am in no way asking for help. I mean, ew. But if you happen to turn up anything about these events, you can tell me if you want via a sending. Tell Ma and Pa helo for me.

P.S. I am doing well and i met my first halfling. Oh and by the way, humans are not ALL that dull and stupid as you said they were.
-OOC- The book is a log book of experiments the possible necromancer whose last name was Maen (As per the telling of Dm Supreme Taco). The Log book details 4 specific days of experiments which also turned out to be the combination for a lock. The experiments were made on living farmers being biten and turned by vampires. The purpose was to discover the link between master and thrall between different kinds of undead and Vampires were only one point in a series of possible experiment categories (IE: Maen is continuing his research on the next, more powerful undead type).
