  • To the Aquor Enclave

*Fenton, at the request of Osclow, delivers a message to the Aquor Enclave, looking and wating for the perfect opportunity to make certain it is left where it can catch the eye of one wearing robes of red. Afterwards, he leaves the enclave quickly and quietly. Each paragraph is written in a different style of handwriting and comes from a different pen. The paper is of rather simple parchment; a variety available in numerous shops.*

To the Keepers of the Aquor Enclave,

    The Genum's Cube.

Hopefully that did well to gather your attention and illustrate the grandiose nature of the business transaction I wish to make with you. First, a rather informal introduction. While, I would much perfer to meet you face to face in a more polite and dignified manner, surely you can understand the necessity of me keeping certain things secret for the time being. For matters of convience, you may address me as Rook, a man quite eager to do business with you regarding the Genum's Cube.

Now, I shall get to the point.

Soon to come is a struggle that will allow an opportunity for my associates and I to gain what you of the Aquor Enclave have craved for so long. While I do agree that the men and women of your organization are indeed the only ones possessing the intelligence to best understand the mysterious artifact, I cannot simply turn a blind eye to the rather generous reward of 15 million stags you are offering. The specific date of this struggle is fast approaching. However, already my associates are in place and practically have Genum's Cube in our possession already.

The real problem lays in the necessity for a quick, clean, and easy exchange from both parties. For this to occur, I will need a name and description of an individual you wish to entrust with this matter. It is this individual I will contact through way of sending spells when the time for exchange arises. The chosen location will be roughly 2 kilometers north of the upcoming struggle, but only though sending magicks will a specific location be easily known by your party. All the more reason to surrender an identity to me.

There are a two simple rules to this encounter I wish to let be known. Rule number one: the exchange shall take place between myself and the individual whose name and description you have given me. No one else. If you plan to use a Thayan receipt, take note that any forgeries will be recognized on the spot. I know you are men and women of your word however and would never stoop so low as to play a childish thief's game.

15 million stags for Genum's Cube.

Rule number two: No more than two individuals shall accompany the man or woman you choose to make the exchange. The presence of any other shall be sensed by my rather capable associates. If we feel in any way dangered, effects of etheralness are prepared to make certain the Cube is moved far from your grasp. I would hate to see such a thing explained to your superiors, so for the benefit of us all, please respect both rules.

If these terms are all acceptable, please respond by sending a letter to the Temple of Oghma enclosed perferably in a envelope of red or purple colour. Be certain to include the name and as detailed a physical description as possible of the individual you choose to make contact with me.

Cooperate, and the Genum's Cube shall be given over to your deserving hands to do with as you wish.

    Sincerely,
    Rook

For the next few days, Osclow never seems to be gone from the Temple of Oghma for very long. Though the frequency of his visits are a bit higher than usual, nothing seems out of the ordinary with him.

Another series of trips and another lack of reply. The bard seems to grow more and more upset, but whispers to himself the need for patience.
