  • To Elrich - In regards to your victory in the Necropolis.

Hano hands a letter to a man hidden in shadows. "Deliver this to him, for me. It's urgent." The man grunts and hobbled out of the Temple.

The envelope bears only the words, "Regarding your victory in the Necropolis." The letter itself contains the following.

"Elrich, I applaud your victory in the Necropolis. I've caught wind of your exploits as well as your.. Methods. Though I do not agree with you relying on an ally that uses demonic magicks to accomplish such a task... There is much for you to learn.

It seems that you've managed to push Tifton and Neradnal into hiding, but The Necromancer.. She is in a different position. Apparently the symbol that was stolen from her by those who would be anonymous keeps her from escaping to the same place. I've no idea what meaning this bears.. But think on it.

As well as this new threat.. This 'Syran' I spoke to you about. Him.. her.. It.. And their heretics are a threat that is under the very nose of Sundren. They have the ability to single handedly destroy the mind of our Champion Marcus - A man far more greater than Tifton and Neradnal combined two fold, I believe. The heretics are spreading far and wide.. They are snatching commonfolk from their daily duties and are converting them with their psionic powers.

They've shown their ability to enter Sundren with ease of not being caught.. I hope you would know that due to this reason I felt it was best to stay in Sundren. I worried that if we were to all strike the Necropolis it would have left Sundren vulnerable to attack from Syran.

I can not write much more than that. You should seek me out in the Triumvirate Temple, or, a place of your choice at a later time. If you have not figured out who has written the letter, it is Hano.

Keep a vigilant eye out for this new threat, Elrich."

*Elric reads the missive and smiles. He then pulls quill, ink, and a piece of gold chased vellum towards him*

    My Dearest Hano,

Now that the Necropolis is at least neutralized for now and hopefully for a longer period if the Temple of Helm cleanses it, we can focus on this Syran problem.

At least we are not fighting a two pronged war. Please meet with me at Jimmy's Dice Den at your convenience.

Pauses mid-training interrupted by a fellow Tormite. "Brother.. A messanger sent this for you." Hano reaches for his sheath sitting on the stool to his side, sheathing his blade then accepting the letter.

He pulls the letter out, flipping it with a single hand, holding his sword in his other.

"I see.. I'd stand out like a nail in a place like that. Perhaps it's a good thing?" Turns away, folding the letter and pushing it inside of his bag. "Brother.. Inform Balthasar of where I'm heading.. Tell him that I'm to speak with Elric at Jimmy's Dice Den."
