Blessings of the Oakfather.
I have been studying the blighted area of the forest, and each time, there are two things that stick out at me like sore thumbs. The two bridges that span the river in the forest have, in my estimation, contributed to the blight considerably.
I believe the bridges have stifled the flow of the river, slowing it down, and allowed silt to build up. This has contributed to the very calm water, and nearly stagnant flow. The river therefore does not carry away and disperse the blight agent with any speed, nor does it bring in a heavy flow of fresh water that could help heal the forest.
As these bridges are clearly unnatural scars of civilization, I propose we destroy the bridges and allow the river to flow freely and naturally. These bridges have no place in the wild anyways, and should not be allowed to compound these man made problems further. Additionally, these bridges only serve to allow future expansion deeper into the forest by civilized peoples, which as we all know will result in the destruction of the wilds if we do nothing about them.
I await the reply of my fellow druids,
Serena Taintedblood
