Letter to Val and the Arcanus Liberus

*Elric sends a letter to Val on expensive Vellum chased with gold*

Dear fellow Bard,

I am giving notice that I will not be a member of the Arcanus Liberus anymore. I believe that my defense of Kemnebi and the resulting tumult has become a liability concerning the Arcanus Liberus and therefore it is best that I resign as a leader and member.

*Absent-minded Val finally finds this letter*

"Elric! I remember that fellow! Wonderful chap, wonder how he's doing these days?"

*proceeds to scan the letter*

"Arcanus Liberus? Kemnebi? Leader? What's all this about? And why's he telling *me* this? How pecu-"

*stops dead in his tracks*

"Oh. OH."

*sighs sadly*

"I knew I wasn't cut out for this leader business... I'd completely forgotten about those hedge wizards. Well, it was (probably) fun while it lasted, anyway."

*Still having not looked at the date on the letter, Val writes back explaining that he hasn't been involved with said faction for several years now, and asks how Elric has been doing since.*
