To: Thayan Envoy based in Aquor (given to alchemist assistant)

Dear Gracious Magister,
Allow me to begin by saying it is a genuine honour to be writing someone of such immense prestige and experience with the delicate workings of the Art. I am humbled by the knowledge that you and your organization are known throughout the realms for and it is truly awe-inspiring to even have the slightest chance to tap that fountain of genius.
It is with the above in mind that I humbly request an audience with your person in order to discuss a matter of grave importance to the land that you have been assigned to 'oversee' by your superiors. It should be noted that I am myself a practitioner of the Art and at the same quite an accomplished scholar in my own right; while I do not claim or even dream to have the same level of knowledge that your honour no doubt possesses, I do believe we could come to a certain 'understanding' in the exchange of council.
I am not an ignorant man to your honour's ways or that of your fine Thayan people, my lord. It is with that statement that I know that anything I request of you I must equally expend a favour to you. I am prepared to offer sums of local currency for your most valuable time if nessarcy, however, I believe such petty concerns are beneath you and appropriate terms can be reached that suit your needs in person should you accept this request for an audience.
Know that I am not a man without capable means to accomplish what must be done. I am convinced this blight on the land is a greater threat to this virgin land than it has ever seen before and while it may be currently confined to this small isolated valley; it should concern those with 'interests' in the region at the least and those outside of it should this blight spread beyond the valley's walls.
My request is simply a formal audience with your honourable person at a time you deem worthy. I have many associates who may be of use to you along with myself in some order of payment for such a request. The nature of the audience is to discuss the brewing situation to the east and within the Sundren state itself. I am confident that any council you have on the matter would be most wise and far more enlightened than most - if any - of the locals could provide.
If you wish to accept this humble request, I would be eternally in your debt. I could tell you where you may be able to find me should you seek my person out; however that would be gravely insulting your capabilties and I am sure you will approach me if and when you so please.
Most sincere regards,
Hlaine Eren Myr of Candlekeep
