  • To Legion Gate Offices

A courier is sent with a pair of knights to the now landed Sundren city and give a letter to the officer of the Gate and wait reasonably for a response from the (maybe)chaotic scene. The letter reads as follows:

The Aquor Engineering Corps offers aid in Sundren's debris removal and rebuilding efforts. With permission from The Hand and Legion, the Enclave wishes to send assistance to our allies and friends within the city to help restore the streets and housing damaged on the return to the surface. We of course agree to any escorts by the Hand, Legion or Helmites.

The only user of weave I intend to send at this time is myself accompanied by my work crew. I will bring a list of the names of my crew accompanying me for documentation. If we can have a Hand escort, and with their permission, use my magics under their supervision, aid in the work as well. If not, I'm sure my presence will be enough to encourage fast work from my crew. We wish to see normalcy return quickly so that trade may flourish once again in the Forum's market center. May Kossuth keep you warm in this transitional time.

Legion forces are initially seen begrudgingly accepting Thayan assistance for several weeks until repair efforts are well under control ... upon which the Hands politely but firmly refuse any additional offer of aid from the Red Wizards.

The general public seem less welcoming to the red robed wizards workforce, who find themselves cajouled, insulted and pelted with rocks on more than one occasion.

A great many of the refugees who had joined the Engineering Corps did so out of desperation and the inability to safely make it to larger destinations in Sundren. By the time the Corps returns to Aquor less than a quarter of its original strength remains.

Construction supplies are continued to be bought and set to deliver at their usual spots on Enclave grounds regardless of the news that the workforce has dwindled.
