An letter scented with the smell of orange blossoms and written on fine, expensive parchment, is sent to House Ulsteris.
To the Seneschal of Lord Oberin Ulsteris
I hope you do not think me impudent to presume to write directly to an auspicious person, such as yourself. I know it is not the thing at all, and I am being horribly presumptuous. But, I really felt obligated to write to you my Lord. I am one of the local Heartwarders from the Temple of Sune in Aquor. I am quite positive that you have never heard of me, but I served with Lord Quintin Ulsteris in the Legion. I spent quite a bit of time listening to him talk about his family’s lands and his sorrow over his inability to help the people he felt such an intense duty to. I admired Quintin greatly and he was one of the key officers that encouraged me to advance, while I too, was in the Legion. It is for this reason milord that I write to you today.
Recently, in Aquor, I met a young priest of The Great Mother named Zachart Carshall. He is looking to try to help the local farmers and rebuild what is left of the Great Mother’s Church here in Sundren. Milord, I know you have little time to meet or direct local priest. But, I had hoped you might have an aid or an advisor who is knowledgeable on what is currently being done in the valley, with respect to the Great Mother. Maybe one of those within your household, with the knowledge of such things, could point this new priest in a direction that he could, perhaps, help makes a difference. There are so many worthy causes and plenty of work that needs to be done. And though it pains me to admit it, I simply had no idea where to direct this young man. I humbly beg your forgiveness if I have offended you, and pray you will overlook my boldness, if only this once.
