There are times in the career of each individual wherein their collective contributions to the organizations for which they stand, and for Society in general, accrue beyond the individual effort of any singular event or trial can measure. I am certain as an accomplished individual yourself you are certainly aware of both the effort and persistence required for such demonstrations, and similarly of the corresponding acknowledgement that aught to accompany such achievements. It is my humble opinion as an Associate Vice President of the Exigo Corporation that such a time has been reached by one mercenary in particular amongst the employ of the Blackwood Company.

Grunt Hogar Skullcracker has proven his services time and again as a source of reliable, dependable, and timely assistance when required by projects on behalf of both myself and the Corporation. He has proven himself to be a valuable asset for expeditions to both the Ixis Isles and the lands surrounding Argyle Keep on numerous occasions, in support of research and study at both locations. During those times I have had the fortune of his company, his manner and bearing, both on and off duty, have been above reproach, and he has proven capable of a great variety of endeavors with appreciable efficiency and enthusiasm.

For such reasons, I - Artifax James Frazer, Associate Vice President of the Exigo Corporation - shall vouch for the capacity and ability of Grunt Hogar Skullcracker, and suggest he be given additional responsibility and all associated benefits and burdens with which it comes, as determined by the Blackwood Company.

Based on recent events with your heroics North of Aquor and your long service in the Company, hereby grant you the rank of Foot Soldier. I have amended your file with your new rank and your access to better paying contracts etc. Attached is your own personal copy as well as a 'Heroes Badge' or better known as the 'Tyranus Badge' that you may wear to declare that you have shown hero like qualities on the battlefield.

Tyranus finishes the letter and snaps off a Fire Giant tooth, carving a large T in Dwarven on it and dropping it in the envelope. He shoves the envelope quickly in the mail box as Hogar walks in and after a few words he walks off.
