A plain letter with the symbol of Moradin is sent to the Thane of Whurest and the Iron Council.
"To both my Thane, and the Iron Council, troubling times may be coming to our mountains again and I must inform you of what I was witness to. Fire giants came down and demanded to speak with anyone willing to listen. When Tyranus and I approached the giants expecting a fight, they instead spoke of diplomatic terms to all who were there. While I was suspect of their truthfulness, it is not something that can be ignored if they are indeed not lying.
The giants spoke of a chosen of Auril leading ambushes on their lands, a white witch they called her. She openly showed the symbol of The Cold Goddess and led the raids with powerful magics. While it may be a ploy on their part, if the giants words are to be believed, then we must learn what we can about this chosen of Auril, and take precautions against a possible threat to our holdings.
I will stay down and collect what information I can and see if there is truth to these words but if I am needed back at Whurest for any reason, I will be there.
