Sir,
I know it is unusual for a Legion officer to request the help of the men and women of Cheapside.With good cause, I expect you are wary of this message.I promise you, that I mean you no harm.You have my word not only as a Heartwarder, but also as an officer. My intentions here are only to talk. There is a madness over taking the city, the murders, the drugs, the food shortages, all of it has made life harder for us all.This city doesn’t just belong to the Legion; it belongs to the people as well.And, sometimes it is easy to forget that.I would like to talk to you about the problems you see and any honest solutions that you feel might help us all.
I know many in Cheapside don’t trust the Legion.Of course there are reasons for this.But I ask, in the interest of Cheapside as well as Sundren city, that you at least consider speaking with me.I am willing meet with you at a place of your choosing.I will tell you now however, that I will not come alone.Though, I will promise that there will be no more than four others with me at any given time.
