A letter slipped under the door at the Temple of Sune

    Darling Chime,

I know after the all the lies I told and things I have done, there will be no easy way to make amends with you. A gift of all the gems in the world or even finest works of art would not even scratch the surface in earning your forgiveness.

Maybe a great act of good but not just to you but also for those whome you love would be sufficient for your forgiveness and my redemption. With that being said, there is a surplus of grain, wheat, fruits and vegetables that I myself can maybe smuggle out of Sestra. Enough food to feed the refugees in Sundren for a couple of months. Please don't tell anyone about this, I will hang for just the thought.

Perhaps such a act will be sufficient at least in your eyes and that's all that matters to me. You can leave a reply under my door, room six at the second wind.

    Hopefully your friend again,
    Sryis

A reply is sent back after a day or so.

    Syris,

I have considered your offer carefully. Send any food supplies you manage to gain to the Temple of Sune in Aquor. We can talk again once you have managed to produce this promised caravan of food. Until then, I doubt we have much to say to one another.

      A sending sent to Chime

      Chime..dear,

The farmers who are willing to smuggle grain out of Sestra are afraid. They want to be assured that it does not get traced back to them or Sestra. They also expressed that if the food does not get to the refugees in Cheepside, then it's not worth them risking their necks.

If you want to meet with him, let me know and I will send him your way.

No reply is given to the sending, but written reply is sent a day later.

        Syris,

Send your farmers to me if it pleases you. But that will not change my decision. The caravan will go to Aquor if you want me to accept and endorse it. You are a clever man. I trust you to handle this.

        Chime.

Taps the letter with his thumb as he reads it, then smiles before tossing it into the fireplace. He Sends her a letter in reply.

          Darling Chime,

I am glad you are wanting to please me but I highly doubt your endorsement will get it to the refugees. Maybe that Bram fella can pull some strings with the Emperor or perhaps the people in the cheapside can smuggle it in. Let's start small with a single wagon of grain and see if you can make it happen.

If you want to continue to please me, how about calling off your goon. He really seems to not want to fight me and I can't blame him. Also feel free to reply by sending, just because I am immune to mind tricks dose not mean I won't allow a Sending.

A letter smelling of orange blossoms is returned.

            Syris,

I don't really think Clandrial will bother you any more. Though one can never be sure. If I may give you a small bit of advice. You should simply leave him alone. He doesn't seem to enjoy your company and when you insist, he does have a tendency to respond with violence. Not that I can really blame him. You seem have that effect on others.

As for the grain, I am afraid that sending it to Aquor is the only way to get the cart into Cheapside. I am not sure why the farmer would need to know all the details of the cart after it was given into my hands. I know logic and reason can be a little hard for you at times, but I urge you to consider all of this carefully. If you send the cart to Aquor, then there is a reasonable, and dare I say logical, reason for me to take the cart into Sundren, I am a priestess if you recall.

However, if that same cart just appears out of no where then it is so much more difficult to get the food to the people you say you want to feed. Do consider this please or perhaps it would be best to let me consider these minor details. If you provide the food, I can and will make sure it gets exactly where it needs to go.

His smile goes bright as he takes in the sent of her letter. Then his lips form a straight line as he reads

A couple of wagons will be sent to Aquor as you wish. Remember I am doing this for amends. Just give me a week to figure out how to do this, perhaps I will make a few farmers shave their heads and dress them up to look like those thayans then write up a fake purchase order.

A Letter left at the Temple of Sune

An anonymous Left at the at the Temple of Sune

                Lady Mynick,

Two Wagons will be left outside Aquor. The Farmers who are taking it will make their way home on the horses. I am pleased that you spoke to him and his wife. I Hope you understood the importance that this shipment can be in no way traced back to Sesta, they are doing a great act of good risking everything for the people in the Cheepside. If you you and Bram can pull the right strings and make sure that some of it, I know not all of it but just some pehaps Can find its it's way to the refguess, it would please the farmers greatly.

There is already plans for the second shipment. the refugees in Sestra are so exited that they are going to be helping others like them. Sacks are hidden in the fields are slowly being filled by the farmers as they work, they will be sneaked out during the shift change, right before dawn to a hidden location and then loaded onto a wagon from there.

This will happen only if some and not all of course of the first shipment makes it to the Cheepside. Remember they are not risking their lives for the nobles of Sundren, nor am I.

I will contact you by sending when the farmers and I are well away from the two wagons."

                The one who seeks redemption,

A Sending goes out to Chime

                  My Lady,
We arrived with the two wagons of grain. Leaving them at the hidden at the location outside Aquor previously talked about. I am so glad we are on peaceful terms again as well as with your friend Clandriel. Perhaps the three of us can get together in the not too distant future and laugh about how we got Sestra's grain into Sundren, over A mug of Ale.
