A letter is left with one of the clerks at the Exigo Syndicate's headquarters in Sundren City. It is written in an easy hand on fine vellum paper -- sealed with blue wax and a sigil that's representative of a cresting wave.
Inside, the message reads as follows:

To the Right Honorable Captain Tidestrike:
I write to you on the advisement of Artifax James Frazer, Exigo Corporation Syndicated Affiliate, Grade B. In inquiring with Mister Frazer about my taking a tour of the Exigo factory in Sundren City, your name was given to me as the man to write with my request.
My reasons for requesting a tour are simple: I would like to learn more about your company and its processes and products. As a commodities trader, I am always on the lookout for valuable merchandise and technology for export abroad. According to all of my preliminary research into the local economy, your company is one of the dominant mercantile powers in the region.
I expect you understand, then, my interest in learning more about your trade and the products you manufacture and offer for market?
If I find, as I expect that I might, that the product you're producing is as praiseworthy as the praise it's already been given, I would be very interested in discussing future shipping and transport dealings with those among your colleagues who are tasked with overseeing the overseas trade.
Thank you for your time regarding this matter. I do hope that we can arrange a short tour in the near future. For the next several days I will be in the city on business, and can be reached at my apartments at the Sundren Comfort Inn.
