Letter to James, Vindir, Zollas

Tyranus writes a trio of letters in candlelight while laying in his bunk, marked with Tyranus' sigil they are sent to James Frazer, Michael Zollas and Foot Soldier Vindir in secret, in the dark of night!

Dear friends

I've seen it! The greatest treasure i've put me eyes on yet in the valley! I was exploring my usual place when I looked up higher and saw a lone figure holding it. The mountain side lit up from the bright fire that shone from the massive blade in his hand! I was about to go after him but he called forth a massive ambush and we were forces to retreat after Janice and Loric were struck down from the surprise attack. We retreated and I got help from Sandro and his cronies and convinced them to help me get the treasure.

After fighting through all the massive defenses they placed before us and slaying the hordes of giants they sent at us we made it to the summit. Sandro talked to the one who had me treasure and made a deal with him and tried to get me killed! I figured they might try to get in my way of my prize so I calculated as much and was prepared for the betrayal.

The Thayans served their purpose well. They cleared most of the resistance for the next coming fight and shifted some of the hatred that was solely targeted at me, thats where you each come in. With a lot of their forces destroyed at the recent battle I can only imagine a well planned precision based strike into the leaders lair will bold good fortune for me on collecting the treasure as well as insuring the decline in fire giant population to an extent.

I shall pay ye each twenty thousand stags if we succeed in making it out alive with the treasure in hand! It will be tough no doubt but with enough planning and preparations im sure we can get it done quick and clean with minimal resistance! Send word if ye wish to accompany me on this quest as soon as ye get this letter, that we may plan in person.

Vidir took his letter and, after reading it, shook hid head. He wasn't really sure why he consider Ty his friend but he did. He penned a quick respons saying he would be glad to aid his friend in his endevor.

A grief-stricken man reads the posting and shakes his head then scribbles a reply

Giants that would threaten the people in Aquor. I will aid you in removing them but as far as the payment, just donate it to the first Triad Ilmatari you run into.

The letter lying in James' Sheridan-wood inbox is deftly plucked forth and opened with a relaxed and efficient manner. The heavily augmented sapphire-lenses of his goggles browse the page with a chuckle.
"Clearly, Tyranus, I've absolutely nothing better to do than gallivant around the countryside keeping your hide intact."
Still smirking, James pulls out his box of block-type, and sets about printing his reply:

Mister Blackbeard,

I appreciate the forewarning - a benefit that, knowing your proclivities, I would hazard was not granted to the High Arcanist. If you insist on diving headfirst into trouble and threatening the Corporation's investments, then I shall be driven to humbly accept your offer of financial return for keeping you in a mostly functional state. I'm certain that the many matters of political and economic importance that I have planned for whatever solar-cycle you chose to pursue your ill-advised heroics will await until such time as your aurumlust permits. I look forwards to the expedition.
