    I've had a sponsorship offer for the poor benighted folk gathered around the gates of Aquor.

    To give them an accurate quote, I request your best estimate of the number of bellies to feed in Aquor. For now I'm basing my figures on a rough guess of one hundred, and being prepared to scale up.

    As I'm sure a mage of your cunning will appreciate, you could look on this as someone else helping to feed your future employees.

    *A reply is sent quickly by a young courier. The courier is athletic, with a tall and lanky physique built through years of rigorous training and running through harsh terrain and climates to deliver messages. Though the young boy's skin is sallow as any other Mulan, his long hair and clothes indicate him to be lesser caste, to those who understand Thay's culture.       My thanks for your reply.

      This particular project involves sponsored winter clothing and food supplies for the refugees of Aquor.

      Procuring new food supplies within the valley, as opposed to out-bidding for existing stocks, seems quite possible, but not a quick matter. I'm a brewer, not a farmer.

      I can hardly decline Aquor the chance to aid it's own. For a sum of twenty thousand stags, I can start scrounging up some clothing in quick measure, and speed up procuring food. In return you, or a related party of your choice, would be named as the second sponsor in order. Or first, should my first not front up with the stags.

      I'm told that Aquor can provide hides. But I might try purchasing small lots of hides direct from the adventuring sorts as well. While they deal with small volumes, they tend to be able to organise their own transport. And bandits rarely seem to be able to stop them. Lucky sods.

      Leatherworking looks like the issue. But my plan is to put out a call for itinerant crafters and adventurers who might be willing to negotiate for small contracts. If it picks up I can look into hiring or having someone train some of the Aquor locals.

      If successful, a similar project for Cheapside is likely.
