Rumors of a Hellstrom tournament have reached my ears. Though I am not aware of all the details of the tournament, I am disappointed in what I learned of the tournament. From what I understand is willing potential candidates must defeat other willing potential candidates in order to join our guild, successfully cutting our recruitment in half. I purpose a different strategy. Why not open the tournament to the whole of Sundren? Let all the valley witness the strength of the Blackwood. With individuals such as Thumper Reeds, myself, and many others, we'll make Sundren realise that the Blackwood are made up of talents greater than even the illustrious Red Blades. And when the Blackwood wins the tournament, Bards will sing of Blackwood, sons will be proud of fathers and father of sons who are in the Blackwood. New recruits will flock to us like moths to a flame. Our contracts will also double because of our fame and prowess. But first you must make this an open tournament for all. Second, the Blackwood must be victorious.
