Warm greetings! I hope this missive finds you in both excellent health and spirits. I am writing with the hopes that I may arrange a meeting with you, as I have recently become aware of a series of events that concerns an individual who is very dear to me- specifically, the elf Thresh Starweaver. There seems to have been some considerably unpleasantness, and as I know you to be a reasonable man, I would like to receive your side of the tale before I make any rash decisions. While Thresh is no longer an official member of Blackwood, I do want to point out that she is specifically under my personal protection, and any future hostilities against her will be viewed as hostilities against me. I am certain that we can sit down and come to a reasonable arrangement that is both mutually respectful and accommodating.
