A sealed scroll, bearing the sigil of a deer's head, is borne aloft by an elven eagle rider to the Silver Marshes under the instructions of delivering the letter to High Marshal Methrammar Aerasum?.
The note, once the seal is broken, reveals parchments scrawled with blue ink in the common trade tongue.

High Marshal Aerasum?, Seventh Councilor, I bid you greetings from the Sundered Valley. I am Maia Nanethiel, priestess of Solonor Thelandira and speaker for the Council of Voices, a gathering of goodly elves based in Sundren. I've had the pleasure of serving the Silver Marshes in my last two decades as a scout and I remembered you when I came up with startling revelations. I hope you will be able to act in a more informed manner than I can.
A woman going by the name of Alandriel Ward has once openly claimed to be an Emissary of Silverymoon at a meeting held by Lord Sylpheth Lorvanea. Lady Ward was then known as a warlock whom drew power from a fey entity (the name eludes me, I am sorry) and despite the nature of her powers I held much trust in her.
After a time, she stopped being around much and I simply assumed that she had errands to take care of or some other task to handle in the political arena.
Now, she has reappeared... but she does not appear as she once did. I counted her as an ally before but now - her very demeanor felt different... wrong. I've learned of startling revelations: such as Lady Ward siding with the Dark Advent - a sect of necromancers and sentient undead, of her attacking at their behest other adventurers (including goodly elves), or her trying to gather worshipers of dark outerplanar entities and other warlocks to a common banner... and from the words of a paladin that she actually did the work of evil Gargauth, the Tenth Lord of the Nine.
She once claimed to be your representant and might actually still wield some authority and power as such - I felt it was imperative that you know of such a person using her position to abuse of Silverymoon's power and her good name. The intentions of the Council of Voices stand to attempt to take her down at the earliest opportunity and drag her into custody of Sundren's prison, where she can be interrogated and helped - if such a thing is possible - or condemned as she deserves.
If there is any information you can offer to help, or any request regarding Alandriel Ward, please send word back and we will see how we can accomodate you. However, we stand firm on this: we will not allow her to harm anyone else and will deal swiftly with any further transgressions on her part if she resurfaces.
Maia Nanethiel,
Speaker for the Council of Voices
(If you find the opportunity, I would also appreciate a background check of one Drashan Farlight, whom claims to be an envoy from Waterdeep - thank you)
