  • A Letter to the Sunite Sisters, Arianna and Brianna

A missive is hand delivered to the valley's beloved stewards of the Sunite temple:

    "Dear friends,

If you soon have time, I have wish to speak with you regarding the construction of the temple. An individual has approached me willing to fund the project, and I would like to get an idea from you the scope of the temple's beauty. Additionally, there is a smaller favor I hoped to ask of you.

Please stop by Avanthyr Hold at your earliest convenience.

    Yours,
    Evelyn Meriadoc"

Adrianna walks into the room where Brianna was reading a book. Adrianna had a sealed letter in her hand sniffing the parchment with a smile.

Brianna took notice of the girl, lifting her gaze from the pages and quirking her brow at the odd behavior of her twin sister.

"Adrianna, what on Toril are you doing?" she asked of Adrianna.

"Sniffing a letter we recieved! You can tell a lot from the scent of a writer. I bet it's from a secret admirer." she replied with her eyes fluttering as she attempted to garner the fragrance of the paper.

Brianna set her book to the side and propped herself upward with an elbow on her chair and rested her chin against her hand, "What do you smell?"

"I can't tell. Everything in the port smells like sea water. Maybe it's a handsome pirate who wants to take me on an adventure. That'd be lovely, right?" she says as she finally begins to open the letter and browse it's contents.

"I'm not so certain you could handle being months at sea, Adrianna. I can barely keep you in one place as it is... So is it a pirate come to sweep you off your feet?"

"I was close! It's a letter from Lady Meriadoc. She's a pirate, right? She sort of walks like one... Mmmm..." her eyes scanned the paper and spread wide with excitement, "She found someone who wishes to donate for the temple!"

"Truly?" Brianna asks in return, "Who would it be?"

"It doesn't say, but she wants to meet to talk about it. Brianna, I need some coin!" she exclaims as she shoves the letter into Brianna's hands practically bouncing in place.

    "Whatever for?"

"I can't make a formal meeting with Lady Meriadoc looking as I do! I need a new gown. Something Elven!"

"People need coin, Adrianna, we can't waste what means we have on fickle matters right now."

"Buying a dress helps the economy! Tailors need funds too!" she retorts with a finger in the air as she makes her point.

"We should write her a reply first."

"Don't worry, I will see that she receives word from us both."

Evelyn recieves a reply letter from Adrianna.

    Dearest Evelyn Meriadoc,

We would be honored to meet with you. I'll need time to find something suitable to wear for this wondrous occasion.

Also, I am discussing something of great import with my sister that goes unresolved. Therefore I shall be candid and simply ask you directly.

    Are you a pirate?

    With all my love,
    Adrianna Emanuelle
