I have been asked by two citizens now that I pass their words along to you. The first was Miss Abby Winters, recently of the Port Avanthyr sanctuary. Myself and Squire Caderyn visited the place for unrelated reasons, and while there she inquired after your health and your willingness to see 'what your generosity has wrought'. The Miss Winters extended her hospitality to yourself and any you care to bring.

As to the second to inquire after you, I have recently become acquainted with an Ar-tel-quessir Sesquiplicarius by the name of Reinamar. He has asked of the possibility of a meeting between the two of you, the nature of which he did not make known.

I will gladly bear any return message you see fit to send if such pleases you, as I see them both often.

You have my personal thanks for your diligence in relaying these messages. As you have offered to act as a liaison in this matter, I will make good use of your availability. My reply to the elven legionnaire ought be prompt. I will authorize your temporary leave from other duties to ensure expediency; notify the Sesquiplicarius that he is expected within Port Avanthyr at his soonest convenience for his requested audience.

I will see to the Miss Winters enthusiasm in person.

I hope this note finds you well. I will be brief, as I am writing this in haste before I travel to the city to hold Vigil in the Temple and ask for Helm's blessing. There is a newly-minted Magus of the Left, one Jaxis, whom I have been well-acquainted with. He shows promise, both as a skilled arcanist and a cooperative Hand. Magus Jaxis expressed interest in the Port and our work here, and as such, I am requesting that you attempt to arrange a meeting between the Magus and the Archmagus Gein.

A letter is left for Esmond with the Aurelianus representatives in Avanthyr.

Grandmaster,

I trust this correspondence finds you in good spirits and health. It has been a short while since I saw you last, as my duties to the Church have seen my days stretched thin. I thought to update you on several matters, however.

As I'm sure you're aware, the Quartermaster and I were recently summoned to the Hold to hold conference with Lord Nicantor and the Zakaharan Emissary. We learned much. The Red Ship docked in our Port is possessed of more men than Avanthyr truly has the capability to house, and to an extent, defend itself from. It has a sister ship, whose crew was given a vague number, but I have been assured it is a lesser one to the ship currently docked. M'lord has decided to offer these Zakaharans a hand of friendship, allowing them to camp outside the walls of the Port while these foreigners find their way home. In addition, M'lord took and improved upon a suggestion offered by myself and the Quartermaster, to limit the number of these men inside the Port at any given time, with the given reason of 'their safety'. These men are a force we do not fully understand and until we do, I am happy to report that M'lord agrees we should be vigilant, and cautious. From the words used upon our introduction, Lord Nicantor has accepted the Northern Watch as an integral part of Avanthyr's security.

There is another matter of a more personal nature to note, as well. Both my wife - your squire - and I have seen what we expect to be the final change in the embracing of our draconic heritage. Your Councilman and Squire now both display the wings of a drake. It will be a time of adjustment, but I believe we both intend to spend more time on patrol and less worrying the common folk of the Port. If you need reach either of us urgently, a Sending is perhaps the most reliable method.
