A letter arrives at the House of Helm addressed to Lord Esmond Aurelianus. Inside, written in a practiced and neat hand is the following:
To his Lordship, Esmond Aurelianus, highborn peer of House Aurelianus;
I formally request audience with your Lordship to discuss a holy mission into Sundren by the Missionary Order of Healers of Ilmater. My purpose here is to bring succor and healing to the desperate masses of refugees who have suffered greatly during these dark and trying times. If successful, my order will take great strides to prevent plague and starvation until such time as Sundren's heroic martial forces can route our foes and recover her rightful place as a sovereign and prosperous Kingdom unbeleaguered by war.
Time is of the essence as plague could erupt at any time in such multitudes and conditions. I beg, in the spirit of your great ancestor who was himself a peerless healer of Ilmater, and who penned the famouse Medica, that you allow me to meet with you in person within the Glorious Temple of the Watcher. There, I shall discuss strategies and ask your guidance and assistance in my endeavors.
With your lordship's blessing, it would please me to arrive with an honor guard of decorated Knights of the Triumvirate who also desire to visit and give honor to your Temple.
