Missives to Archmaguses Yevelian and Swift.

A pair of synthetic miniature humanoids, each bearing the symbol of a brass gear overlaid with a crossed quill and scimitar upon their shoulder, wander the halls of the Towers of Mundus.
The first, a clay construct, flaps it's way through the Tower Sinistrum to locate the desk of Archmagus Dante Swift; hastily dropping it's charge before leaving with naught more than muttered complaints.
It's companion in the Tower Decstrum, a metallic land-bound automaton, clanks it's own methodical path through the passages, seeking out one particular Archmagus Yevelian; to deliver a package paired with a conformation receipt to sign, shortly thereafter making a beeline for the exit.

Both bear the following script, written exactingly on neat letterhead trimmed with blue and green.

Archmagus,

As you are likely aware, for some time I have been searching for sources from which to increase my comprehension and understanding of golemcraft and the arcanomechanical sciences. It is recently that I have located an establishment willing to offer aid in the furtherment of such knowledge, but with a contractual caveat. After much consideration and deliberation, I would like to accept the available offer, but must first request an honorable release-from-State-service. Please know that it is my full intention to attempt to turn any innovation from participant research therein towards the application of net-positive sum transactions. I am far from informed on the nuances of the political situation as one of my rank aught to be, and would find it of great reprieve to busy myself with more mundane objectives. If there is a concern of intellectual property and confidentiality, I would be most willing to discuss it in greater depth, but would assure you that informational security shall be enforced to the best of my ability.

My aid and services would be, as always, at your disposal, although likely subject to some scrutiny or restriction by both organizations when conducted as official business. It would be my preference that nonpolitical comradery remain unaffected, as I shall consider you a close friend and ally regardless of your decision or politics involved.

Should my request be approved, I also have a set of robes to be returned to Archmagus Yevelian when the time might allow.

Dante` leans back in his chair resting his arms on the sides and steeples his fingers to his lips. After a moment of thought, he rises and recites the words of a spell. He softly speaks a few words then releases the energy to find its way to its recipient. He sits down to wait for a reply from his oldest friend, mentor, and as of late his rival. He smiles a bit and wonders if Archmagus Yevelian the Gray is willing to talk.

James delivers new set of paperwork by hand to each Archmagus.
"After some discussion with Archmagus Yevelian, I have drafted and refined a nondisclosure agreement to provide reasonable protections to both the State and myself, regarding potentially hazardous information," the artificer explains as he presents the legalese document. "If you could read it over, I think it should suffice. When you are ready to sign, I have triplicate copies."

Agreement between the City-State of Sundren and James Frazer reguarding the maintenence and disclosure of of proprietary information deemed integral in the sustainment of the former party.

This Agreement (hereafter reffered to as the "Agreement") is made effective as of <<IG current date>>, by and between <Yevelian the Gray/Dante Swift>, an Archmagus of the <Right/Left> Tower of the Hands of Mundus (hereafter reffered to as the "State-Representative") in representation of the City-State of Sundren under the hand of Emperor Imperatu Verinus (hereafter reffered to as the "State"), and James Frazer (hereafter reffered to as the "Employee"). As a condition of the Employee's discharge from service to the State, the State-Representative and the Employee agree to the following:

WHEREAS the Employee desires release from service to the State, is is understood and agreed that the Employee has been exposed to certain of the State's information deemed integral in the sustainment of the State;

WHEREAS the State-Representative desires to take all reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized disclosure of said information;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these premises is is agreed as follows:

1. Over the course of employment, the Employee may have been exposed to the State's proprietary information, technical data, political secrets or know-how, included but not limited to research, products, services, suppliers, supplier lists, markets, arcana, developments, inventions, processes, technology, designs, drawings, engineering, military operations information, finances, or other political information disclosed by the State either directly or indirectly in writing, orally, by magical or illusionary recording, or by drawings or inspection of samples (hereafter collectively reffered to as "Confidential Information").
2. The legalese agrees that the legalese will not, during or subsequent to the terms of this Agreement, use the State's Confidential Information for any purpose whatsoever other than for the State's benefit in the course of his employment as a Magus of the State. The Employee further agrees that the Employee will not disclose the State's Confidential Information to any third party, and it is understood that said Confidential Information shall remain the sole property of the State. The Employee further agrees to take all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized disclosure of such Confidential Information.
3. The obligations assumed by each party under the provisions of Sections 1 and 2 shall not be applicable to any disclosure of information that is or was:
   1. Already known to the Employee prior to employment, and the Employee has in his posession in written, physical, or magical embodiment form, prior to disclosure;
   2. Lawfully received by the Employee in the normal course of buisness from a third party having the right to disclose such information without restriction, or is independantly developed by the Employee without access to, or use of, Confidential Information;
   3. Approved for disclosure by prior written authorization from the State or State-Representative; or
   4. Is now, or becomes generally known to the public, other than through a breach of this Agreement.
   
   
4. The obligations respecting information provided in these Sections 1, 2, and 3 shall terminate three years from the date on which the Employee has last been employed by the State.

The undersigned hereby agree to the stipulations put forth in this Agreement
