  • Letter to Cora Kelm

A letter with the Hellstrom Family Seal is sent to the Sundren Comfort, addressed to Cora Kelm.

    Miss Kelm,

I would like to suggest you open a dialog with Exicorp in regards to your acquisition of the old Viridale Camp. I do not represent Exicorp, however, I've used my Keep as a meeting place in the past to assist in brokering deals. I do request proper attire if you choose to take me up on this offer. You should send word to Ramas Sepret if you're interested.

    Lord Byrun van Hellstrom
    Byrun - Wandering Swordsman
Falrenn Silvershade - Shaper of Truths

If you're searching the lines for a point
    Well, you've probably missed it
    There was never anything there
    In the first place

After another long day of traveling, Cora returns to her room and notices the letter on the floor. She picks it up, takes a few moments to tidy up the place in her absence, and then sits down on one of the sofa's to look it over. Her initial expression of surprise turns to a soft frown as she reads the brief note. Dress appropriately? Does he take me for a harlot? She shakes her head, fetches a bit of parchment, and starts to pen a response.

    To Lord Byrun van Hellstrom,

I thank you kindly for the invitation and would gladly accept your offer. I shall send a letter to Sir Sepret immediately afterwards. I had been meaning to get in touch with Exigo for some time now on those matters as well as other matters of business as I am also a jeweler.

Thank you kindly for your advice and offer.

    Cora Kelm
After sealing the letter, she would deliver it herself to Castle Hellstrom when she is next in the area.
It is better to try and fail than to never try at all. Those who never try are cursed to wonder what might have been.
