I was told ta send you a letter stating my intentions concerning the Blackwood Company by Kyle Rendell. I am Sergeant Cranky McGillicutty and I am volunteering my services to conduct day-to-day Company business. I have noticed paperwork is delayed and routine decisions are not made due to the exit of Julia Averson. I am willing to fill that vacancy.

Of course, if ya want me to step up and take over the daily operations of the Company, a promotion would probably be prudent, so that there is no question as to my authority to conduct Company business.

Lord Byrun,

You are a busy man. There are duties of your house and now the Blackwood. It makes it doubly hard to keep track everything going on in your life and the Company. You will need someone to be your Battle Captain, someone to take over the training, equipping, and marshaling of your forces.

I am that Halfling. I propose to be designated as a Company Battle Captain or at least one of them. This would require my elevation to Brigadier status, a position that will give me the authority necessary to carry out your commands. I think this even more critical as negotiations move forward for the Company to vacate the Port. You will need someone on the ground that can work all the issues that will be necessary for such a move.

Therefore, I recommend you make a decision sooner than later. War is brewing and we must be prepared.
