As you are one of the mid-level bureaucrats of ExiCorp, I thought this might be best served sent to you. If it does not reach you and instead gets intercepted by a lower or higher level bureaucrat, please be advised that I, Bree, am NOT a member of the Black Hand, nor am I a member, active, former or thought of being a priestess of an illegal god (in this case Myrkul).

I continue to serve Lady Firehair in all my thoughts and actions. Should it be disputed, or considered, I would request an inquisitor or a Triadic Knight, to investigate my statements for their truth. I willingly submit to an interrogation about all that occurred during the events in the Mariner as well as the events in the East End of the Port involving the Legionaires, the Helmite knight, and an innocent stable boy, all slain by one called Hashart Datton and his minion, a vampire who abducted me and locked me in Sestra, to subject me to druggings and beatings on a regular basis.

We at ExiCorp HR are glad to hear that you are alive and whole and maintaining a can-do attitude in the face of adversity.

We are glad to hear you are not an active member of an illegal terrorist organization, as joining such a group without the written permission of your manager would be in breach of your terms of contract.

Our lawyers are keen to point out that Myrkul is not an illegal god, he is in fact the perfectly just god of death taking back his throne as was rightly given to him by its previous incumbent Jergal from the short lived usurper ████████. Regrettably a small minority of those dedicating their lives to the worship of Myrkul may be members of illegal terrorist organizations, but not all. Our legal department also feels that any attempt to outlaw death would be futile.

Our legal department suggest you make your way East to the Gate of the Sunderer and make yourself known to Geidle Narst, an ExiCorp caravan wrangeler located there. He will be able to provide you with documentation to enter the city where you will be able to meet with our legal team and prepare a case for the Triumvirate.

Given your previous employment history and the dedication you have shown during your career to the Lady Firehair we find it extremely unlikely that you would have switched faiths so suddenly, we have also dismissed any stories of you becoming a 'Priestess' by merely feeding a cat as idiotic bunkum (Note: This is unless 'Feeding a Cat' is a euphemism for entering into the clergy).

Our legal team are arranging for a coalition of Helmite and Tormite inquisitors in advance of your arrival, we are also seeking a priestess of Lady Firehair rumoured to be visiting the city.

Thank you for your timely letter. My recent incarceration by the EbonCoin syndicate, who tried to sell me back to the Black Hand. Please be warned that there may be civil problems within that group that may spill over outside their lands. Certain members of their group are plotting against their Exarch. But that is a side note, please pass it along the chain.
