  • A message for the Bank of Sundren General Manager

Talin walks into the sundren bank. He notices the bank is rather empty and devoid of activity. He wonders if he even wants to do business with this bank as it doesn't seem very popular. He has little choice, however, so he proceeds to engage a teller. Talin inquires as to the bank's policy on loans. The teller seems to know nothing and is of little help. Talin writes a short note and asks the teller to give it to his general manager.

    The note reads:
    To whom it may concern,

I am Talin Oremelter, craftsman and merchant. I have recently traveled to Sundren in order to participate in it's economic success. I have brought with me a small stock of items and goods to offer to the people of Sundren. However, I have little assets in the form of gold stags to purchase additional goods. If you would be so kind as to set up an appointment to discuss the terms and conditions of a loan, I would be most grateful. I can offer my current stock of items as collateral, which, if circumstances dictate, can be liquidated amongst the other merchants in town. It seems your bank could use the business and I am sure we can come to a reasonable agreement. Please send response to the Four Lanterns Inn, where I am temporarily staying.

    Graciously,
    Talin Oremelter
Talin leaves the note with the teller and anxiously awaits a response.

The Temple of Waukeen has, in fact, seen a great deal of clientel enter into it's doors. Perhaps Talin Oremelter was feeling a bit under the weather as many well to do individuals seek the counsel of the clerics in matters of currency.

The money handler does recieve the letter, and forwards it on to someone that can review the information within.
