  • Note for Angus Ironforge

    Master Ironforge,

I was recently approached by one of your people (and by that I mean a Dwarf) who wished to purchase an item from my stock. The Dwarf claimed to have been recommended by a "Rambus", and seemed to have knowledge of the enchanted Dwarven axe in my possession.

The Dwarf [A rough description of Nolin the Rock follows] seemed both obnoxious and prone to violence as well as at least a little mentally unstable. He offered me an evil artifact in exchange for the axe, which I of course refused, at which point he resorted to a fit of obscenities.

Whilst I feel certain it was not you who informed him of the axe, I would caution you to be most careful in future if you should vouch for others. Such weapons in the hands of someone so unstable would undoubtedly lead to the deaths of many innocents.

Lastly, there is something I would like to discuss with you in person if you can find the time for a meeting. I can be contacted via the Towers, or by magical sending if such is available to you.

    Regards,
    Magus Altherion Goldleaf

*Angus receives the missive and begins reading it front to back, back to front before frowning in confusion*

"Why ye be tell'n me to be careful about vouching for others? I gots no idea who this Rambus be, tis fella ye be describing..."

*Angus reads further and begins to laugh*

"Obnoxious? Prone to a wee bit of violence? Tis most Stout folk I know!"

*Angus sits down and begin writing a missive in return. He is well spoken in spite of communicating in his non-native language*

    Magus,

I have no idea who this Dwarf is that you are referring to. I will take your warning as a friendly gesture, although most of my race would be offended if told them to use caution vouching for others... when they, like me, did not in fact vouch for anyone.

But I know your heart to be true and your intentions noble. Seek me out at Second Wind if you need to speak business.

    Runesmith Ironforge.
    Cheers!
