  • A Letter to Murin Stouthammer

    "Master Brewer,

A good day to you, and greetings. I represent the management of Jimmy's Tavern, located in Sundren City. Recently, we have revived our Fight Nights with the purpose of promoting bloodsport for the entertainment of the valley. While our first attempt at a Fight Night fell short, we were hoping to rectify our failings with not only a new arena, but a new sponsor of fine ales.

We've decided to hold the next Fight Night in Port Avanthyr, actually near your own brewery. We've received permission from the Meriadoc Hold, and we were hoping that you might peddle your excellent brewmancy at our Fight. We're in the process of constructing a ring that is easily taken apart and put together, and we'd like to hold it right outside your brewery.

Rest assured, no damage will be inflicted on your store. But, even if it were, I can assure you that the profits of such a venture would far outweigh the detriments.

    Yours in Service,

    The Management."

    Jimmy's Tavern

I welcome the chance to offer fine brews to your thirsty customers, and I am sure you will be able to appreciate their fine qualities. As you would be well aware, the Provings at Castle Hellstrom have benefited from fine thirst-quenchers in past months.

Such is my enthusiasm that I am willing for your trial of combat to be held right outside my brewery and my precious vats. I shall be sure to board up the windows in case of wayward throwing axes. If their copper gets dented the girls get rightly upset, and take a lot of tending to before the ale's right.

    Yours in Good Ale
