1. SITUATION
a. Enemy: Size, composition, and disposition of adversaries are unknown. The Battlespace will be underground, favoring low light vision and close combat.

2. MISSION: Tonight! Skull Cleaver Strike Force (+) will enter Schild Mountain’s substructures to locate and identify any occupants and subsequently kill or subdue any hostile or uncooperative occupants. Once the entire substructures are deemed clear and secure, adamantine mining operations will commence under the supervision and protection of Whurest. b. Friendly forces: Skull Cleaver Strike Force

3. EXECUTION
Intent: Reestablish mining operations without loss of friendly lives. Once reestablished, negotiate long term lease of Schild.
a. Concept of operations.
(1) Maneuver: All movement will be conducted by foot at the fastest rate of the slowest member while maintaining full mission readiness. Speed is security. Actions at the halt will include establishment of a defensive perimeter, redistribution of supplies, and rendering of first aid.
(2) Fires: All offensive magic abilities will be identified by caster before combat. Protective wards will be offered, or rules of engagement explained. Offensive magic (fires) will be used only when the Strike Force is rendered less than 50% effective.
(3) Reconnaissance and Surveillance: Strike Force will conduct reconnaissance by fire. Hasty surveillance will be implemented by any Skull Cleaver on point. Action at the halt before entering any door, hallway, or room will be to first stop, look (roll spot?), and listen (roll listen?) prior to entering any closed door. Alert the entire element before proceeding of any detected dangers.
(4) Intelligence: Official correspondence between Whurest and former Veritas members currently serving in the 10th Legion has been sent requesting maps, location of traps, and any known areas vulnerable to infiltration by non-Veritas inhabitants.
(5) Engineer: Exigo will stage at the Schild Mountain entrance 100 pieces of lumber suitable to serve as beams and braces to shore up any substructures deemed to be of structural concern.
(6) Air Defense: Casters will prepare sufficient wards to protect five operational members from arrows, offensive magic, and elemental damage.
(7) Information Operations: All operational members will be rendered immune to adversarial propaganda designed to strike fear in the hearts of operational members. Conversely, diplomacy will be used if violence can be avoided to persuade any potential adversary that resistant is futile.
b. Tasks to maneuver units: All operational members will use speed and violence of action to neutralize adversaries by first targeting 1) casters, 2) archers, and then 3) fighters in priority order. Angus Ironforge will serve as lead aggressor with responsibility to draw as much archer and fighter attention as possible, freeing other operational members to engage Casters, then archers, and finally fighters. Andelain Dovenian is classified as a special weapon with priority engagement of any demons, devils, or servants of evil. (5) Force protection: All operational members have an inherent right to self defense and self preservation. Ensure each operational member carries sufficient supplies so as to survive unaided for the period of two days on their person. This includes bandages, potions, ointments, salves, and dark ales.
4. SUSTAINMENT(2) Commander's Critical Information Requirements:
a. Once all engineering equipment is prepositioned in front of Schild
b. Any indications of activity within Schild Mountain.
c. Illness of any operational member
(3) Rules of engagement: Offensive magic will be used in accordance with concept of operations. Once inside Schild Mountain, all operational members are cleared weapons hot. Exception: Unarmed persons who willfully surrender. Any defensive or offensive use of magic is considered a hostile act. b. Any indications of activity within Schild Mountain.
