*Angus Ironforge leaves two sealed missives at the 6th Legion Headquarters at Sunderer’s Gates. The missives are addressed to Imperatu Verinus and "Former Commander, Veritas Syndicate*
Gentlemen,
I hope this letter finds you both with clear mind and steadfast resolve. This letter’s purpose is to discuss the future and the rebuilding of Sundren. To this, I propose the following:.
In years past, Bristlebeard’s Clan mined Schild Mountain for Adamantine. Now that the Veritas have left the mountain, we wish to enter her bosom once again and reestablish mining operations. It is with your permission that I want to enter the Veritas’ former stronghold and rid it of any evil manifestations.
My plan is to solicit help from Bristlebeard’s Clan, specifically my brothers in arms the Skullcleavers. Through force of will and Moradin’s grace we will enter Schild’s bountiful mountain and rid it of any vermin that may have taken up residence. To this end, we would like the assistance of any former Veritas to serve as scouts. We need expert knowledge of stronghold’s layout and of any traps that may have been left behind. Once secure, Bristlebeard’s Clan plans to reestablish mining operations. I offer the sum of 500,000 stags to lease the mines for a period of two years. If, after such a time it is Sundren’s belief this deal is not beneficial, the lease will be terminated. Otherwise, an established rate of 250,000 stags per year is what I propose.
My long term goal is to place forges and blacksmith benches within the mountain to accommodate full time production. Naturally, we stout folk will defend the mountain and Sundren’s Eastern Flank. To do so, we plan to reestablish a watchful eye along Twin Peak Road, and construct proper fortifications on Schild itself. We expect to skillfully open Schild’s bosom and expose her goodness; but, as with any mining operation we are bound to see the mountain’s untamed side. Mirakus’ Mines come to mind. We will work hard to keep anything from leaving the mountain and invite assistance where available.
Sundren will need Dwarven crafted armor and arms. We intend on bringing this ability, our abilities, to the Valley. Having just passed through Aquor, I no longer see the market well placed in the town’s center. Perhaps in the future we can attract craftsman to the area at the base of Schild Mountain. Our economy must return and florish if we are to survive.
My plan is ambiguous, but executable. I wait your response at Second Wind Inn, Room 2.
In Moradin's Service,
Angus Ironforge, Runesmith of Exigo.
