I'm afraid his whereabouts at this time are currently unaccounted for.

An eerie sense of déjà vu washed over the Legionnaire as she read the words contained within the reply. She re-read the letter again, and then she neatly folded it before setting it next to the stacks of letters and reports covering her desk.

Wordlessly, she moved to open a few cabinets within her suite, and a short time later a box filled with masculine belongings was placed next to two similar boxes in a rarely-used drawer.

"Goodbye, Ryland," she whispered to the box before she closed the drawer and returned to her desk. There was too much work awaiting her; she would grieve another time.
