To the Legion Command:
As I am unable to deliver this in person, I have asked that it be passed to you.

You may have this intelligence already, but I am passing it on just in case.

There are survivors of the attacks alive in Sestra. The Baneites seem to have forcibly converted them, although how many have converted sincerely and not just to survive, I cannot say.

Besides Baneites, there appears to be a new "militia", probably their replacement for the Corps de Grace. I have no real information on this, beyond an impression that they are especially zealous. A small point which may or may not have any significance is that they used the pronoun "it" instead of "he" when describing me.

The Corps de Grace Headquarters is deserted, except for the barmaid, Molly, who has survived, but did not wish to leave the town with me. I was unable to determine how much of the Corps records are available to the Baneites and how much was destroyed before the fall.

While there, I was discovered by Adeodatus Exitum, who has assumed the title of Exarch. His presence may have affected Molly's decision to stay.He chose to release me and I was escorted from the town and am under threat of death if apprehended there again.

Dear Mr. Mard,

Many unfortunate events have occurred and while it pleases me to know the leader of the Sestra militia yet lives, our course of action available for making claim to any territory outside the Port or the Gate of the Sunderer is slim at best, at least right now.

We have a city full of people, especially refugees who need to be fed and accounted for. We will do all we can to help escort any other survivors from Sestra and give them temporary housing in the city.

At your earliest convenience I would like to arrange your citizenship so you may continue to assist survivors and regrouping your men in the city.
