A letter to Darius Blackwell

Like the previous letter, this message finds itself delivered to the Helmite Temple. It has the same penmanship and request for delivery to the Triumvirate, though this one is meant for the knight Darius Blackwell.


Sir Darius,

I've come upon some information regarding the necromancer Larkin. As per our agreement, I made certain to relay this infromation to you as quickly as possible. It appears Larkin has some kind of ritual in mind that involves the sacrifice of a virgin maiden. The purpose of this ritual is unknown to me, as is the reason why Larkin himself told me about it. It would be easy to chalk his actions to insanity, but such a mindset could be exactly the kind of ploy he desires. I suggest caution, as well as numerous other actions that I would perfer to discuss with you in person. Relay this information to those you deem fit.

Once again noticing a letter requesting delivery to the Triumvirate Ryland makes the delivery on his daily rounds leaving a note for Darius attached to the outside of the letter.

Brother Darius,

If I am not being overly intrusive in asking I would like to know who is leaving letters for delivery to the Triumvirate in care of our temple? I find it most curious that this is the second such letter I have delivered this week. It is not that I mind the exercise or the fellowship of such fine company but my curiosity has been tweaked.
