A note to Emiliana Blackwell

*A note is given to Betty, addressed to the Legionaire Emiliana. Despite the vellum being rather old and yellowed with a smell of dead wood, the penmanship seems similar to that you would see from the hand of a noble.*

"I decided to give Heska a break and deliver this by hand. Forget about the plan we discussed. Just cast it out of your mind altogether. The Viridale will find a way to survive without the aid of you or your precious Legion. Or at the very least, those of us wise to the inevitable shall try."

When Centurio Blackwell receives the note, she reads it and then re-reads it before a look of complete perplexity crosses her features. "I spent hours of my time talking to the man and trying to help him with an issue he came to me to address, and my reward is a vitriolic note? Gods, Betty... remind me again why I bother," she rhetorically mutters.

Note in hand, Emiliana disappears upstairs to her suite for a few moments before she storms back downstairs and out the door to resume her patrols.
