ooc: This correspondance was sent and delivered back in March shortly after recieving the 'files' from Vashano in relation to real time.

NOTE: This package and missive is delivered to the officials of Sundren City, the leader of the Red Blades, the temple of the Triumvirate, and to Abbot Proskus at the Temple of Helm.

To whom it may concern,

As you are no doubt aware, the Thayan enclave established here within Sundren City has as of recent been put to flames. As such Aznar has seemingly vanished along with this occurance and these past few days have been devoid of any presence from Thayans or responsive action on their part.

I do not wish to make this missive any longer then necessary so I will move to the main point for my correspondance. I am Kai Nightwind of the Vigilant Eye and as of recent I have come into possession of various personal and confidential documents from good contact and source that were being held and utilized by one Aznar, who was the presiding Red Wizard that had been welcomed and offered ground to establish the enclave in question.

You will find among these files (and I would suggest you have an skilled arcanist on hand to assist in it's perusal) information detailing processes, ingredients, and the requirements for one to transcend into lich-hood, including the rituals as such to create a phylactery. In addition, these documents state intent to create blooded-ones, from my knowledge a type of enhanced, thrall like soldiers; both of which are certainly not on-par with the laws the enclave had agreed too.

Finally... as much as I hate speaking of the subject, my gender was changed by a belt some weeks back that had essentially almost turned me completely mad if it were not for the help and assistance of one very skilled and practiced arcanist. No less it is on trusted word and evidence that this transmutation, this item in question actually found it's way to me by action of Aznar, of whom was fully aware of the effects as such and did so with intent to harm.

I hope this information will be taken into account in future dealings with any apporaches by the Thayans in the future, in terms of trade or otherwise. As there can be no doubt now given the evidence that such dealings and leniency with them was infact a mistake and should not be made again, less we suffer consequences we find ourselves unable to deal with.

I have entrusted the Temple of Helm with the original documents pertaining to the aforementioned. Please see Abbot Proskus should you desire to view them directly in person.

Dear Kai Nightwind,

These documents are highly elaborate forgeries, the Thayans have spoken with the Arbiters of the events including the one named Aznar. They have provided proof of his failure to abide their laws, and excommunication. They have no doubt he was killed by one of his apprentices in a power struggle, which is known to be common in Thay. Aznar has paid for his crimes in his demise, but not by Sundarian law as it should have been. His apprentice, Vashano is to be held responsible for this crime. The Thayans have already made us aware that he is in fact a Tiefling.

You are commended for your work by the Harbinger of Justice in this matter.
