  • Letter to the Order of the Triadic Knights Citidel of Impiltur

    Brethren,

I write you this day on a mater of earnest concern. A woman, the head of the Temple of Lathander in fact, here in the valley was as I understand it recently exorcized of a demonic possession. She remains lucid and reasonably returned to her former self. The trauma has however left her nearly blind as well as retaining intrusive memories of the events which transpired while under the demonic possession.

As I myself will soon be departing on a mission which may very well mean the termination of my life, I request an agent of the Traidic Order be dispatched to Sundren to evaluate, and if possible aid in the full recovery as far as it is possible of this member of an allied Temple.

The mission of which I speak will see myself and compatriots to Sigil and from there to an uncertain end. Should my life be ended and body returned to the Prime, I request here formally that I be given proper rites and my possessions distributed by the following particulars.

My armor should it remain serviceable will be presented upon my death to Alexander Evenwood of the Temple of Helm here in Sundren.

The blade 'Gracious Demise' I request upon my death to be delivered to the Temple of the Triumverate in Sundren where it will be retired to stand vigil in the hall of worship, never to be drawn again save for by the hand of another Triadic Knight.

My wedding ring will be returned to my wife, Presea. Should she be unable or unwilling to receive it, the ring will be buried with my body.

All other possessions I hereby donate to the Temple of the Triumverate and its agents upon my death.

This letter may well reach you after the time of my own death, it is written here by my hand and in good health and mind that this may stand as my last will and testament to my requests upon my death.
