A rolled scroll of parchment, bound by a length of violet ribbon, is delivered to the headquarters of the Corps de Grace in Sestra. The outer edge of the letter that's visible reads that the note is meant for Directeur Tery Mard.
Directeur of the Corps de Grace,
I hope this letter reaches you in good health. Things have been happening in your town of late, perhaps without the Corps' knowledge. Are you aware?
It has come to my attention that a known Banite has taken a liking to Sestra, specifically a Dreadmaster of the cult with prestige among his people. While he is visibly operating alone as he usually does, a group of darkly clad men recently passed through the town, in addition to a robed man of light build that was caught digging through the graves outside the mausoleum. If they lingered for any extensive period of time, it's beyond me but I would prefer to be informed.
Whether or not these incidents are related, I would know if the Corps plans to do anything about fiends so brazenly walking the streets at night. This information has already been brought to the Sundarian Legion's attention, yet there's been no show of force or query to identify and remove the Zhent. In the past too the maiden tending to Chauntea's shrine felt threatened by the presence of a Myrkulite, as she called him, stepping into her holy house.
Perhaps you are alone in this effort? Perhaps the Legion is too preoccupied with the encroaching Bloodmaim to handle attacks from within? A meeting in the future is a preferable course of action, if it can be arranged. Any letters sent to the mausoleum proper will reach me with time.
